At The Junior Sculling Regatta the first race is a time trial with the first six crews proceeding to Final A, crews 7 to 12 Final B and so on. Of the 14 Henley crews that raced time trials 7 reached A Finals and secured two golds three silvers and a bronze.
The J14 boys continued their successful season. Having won their Time Trial by a convincing margin, Miles Vann, Flynn Burrow, James Weeks, Franco Bigmore-Wallace, and cox Theo Berry led their Final from start to finish. They won by an emphatic 3 lengths in a record time for the event.
Not to be out done by the boys the J14 girls Emily Robinson, Juliet Len, Camilla Barlow, Isabella Hughes and cox Martha Barron also won their event but only after coming second in the time trial to Rob Roy who then gave the girls a very tight race in the final but the Henley girls always kept their bows just ahead crossing the line just under a length clear.
For the J15s the girls had two doubles reach the A final with Grace Haldane and Agnes Chapman finishing sixth and Lauren Pollard and Sophie Floyd just missing out on a medal when Thames Scullers in the last few strokes pushed them into fourth place by 0.4secs.
Ella Butler in her single finished first in the B final as did the boys J15 quad (Charlie Green, Maxim Lutsenko, Oscar Newson, Diego Petrosillo, Cox Rares Visinoiu) and the girls J15 quad (Holly Jackson, Scarlett Hyde, Emma Floyd, Daisy Millard, Cox Emily Schutz).
